About Grizzly

Since I was 10, I have loved skateboards and skateboarding. Now I take broken and used skateboards which were skated so hard they broke and recycle that beautiful and colorful hardwood into new and useful hardwood items and projects. Skateboarders put all of their energy and focus into landing tricks on this wood when it was a skateboard. It’s a shame to see all of that energy and history go straight to the landfill once it breaks. I go around to skateboard shops and parks and collect broken skateboards so they can be transformed into new things and that soul and energy in the material can live on.
